They have collaborated on numerous hard-cover regional history books, as well as publishing books by other regional authors through their publishing company, Tornado Creek Publications. They are also the editors and publishers of the Spokane Corral of Westerners' semi-annual publication, The Pacific Northwesterner. The Bamontes presently reside in Spokane, Washington, and are actively working on a number of regional book projects. Soon to be released are "Seven Remarkable Frontier Women and the Founding of Spokane Falls," authored by Barbara Cochran and edited by the Bamontes and "The Mighty Coeur d'Alenes: Fortunes of Gold, Silver and Timber up the North Fork," the first of a three-volume set covering the history of Idaho's Shoshone and Kootenai counties by Tony and Suzanne Bamonte. They are also working on a history of Spokane, commissioned by the Spokane Board of Realtors to commemorate their 100th anniversary in 2011. |
